In this episode, Angie gets interviewed by Mr. Alex, the teacher who made a big difference in her life. Together, they talk about Angie’s story—her life in Ecuador, the hard times she faced, and the challenges of starting over in the U.S. They reflect on how complicated it can be to choose to take care of yourself when you are carrying many responsibilities.
Both Angie and Mr. Alex had teachers who noticed them during their hardest moments, and because of that, they found the courage to keep moving forward. Mr. Alex also shares a little about his experience in high school and how it shaped the way he connects with students.
This episode is about being strong, asking for help, and remembering: no one has to walk the hard track alone.
